Lilydale SES receives limited funding from state and local government to provide our local community with emergency response to road crash rescue, storm, flood events. We therefore rely heavily on business partnerships to supplement our training and operational capabilities. Below you’ll find some of our active sponsors.
YARRA VALLEY TOWING
For many years, Yarra Valley Towing has been providing Lilydale SES with surplus vehicles to practice Road Crash Rescue skills. The owner has always wanted to contribute in a volunteer capacity with the SES but unfortunately he typically ends up towing vehicles from the same crash sites we respond to. We are very grateful for these vehicles.
AUSSIE BROADBAND
Aussie Broadband has proudly supported Lilydale SES since early 2022. First with a fast, reliable NBN FTTC connection, which has been instrumental to our Technology Roadmap. It has enabled online access to Unit infrastructure, allowing things like training resources, unit management, and security monitoring to be accessed or performed remotely.
In late 2024, Aussie extended their support to include 5 x 4G Data SIMs for our Unit iPads. These devices form a critical part of our emergency response, offering access to resources that are only available with an active connection.
